PSL Datatrack
PSL Datatrack is a modular production control software system. Designed specifically for subcontract precision engineers, it streamlines the entire production process from quotation to invoice.
Members of the BTMA (British Turned Parts Manufacturers Association) since 2003, the association recognises that systems such as PSL Datatrack are a necessary part of maintaining the very high standards of administration and customer service required in today’s marketplace.
The system comprises a series of core modules which can be extended to include a range of optional modules and features. Its Quotations module is the software equivalent of setting a machine tool – once the information has been entered at this stage it is reused throughout the rest of the system, preventing manual retyping of data and human error.
Traceability is an automatic, integral feature, so all historical data required is gathered and stored for ISO accreditation purposes. Raw materials are tracked from the point that a purchase order is raised to buy them through to allocating the material to a works order.
Extensive flexible reporting is available and all systems can be configured to run Status Boards, visual display screens that show real time information. The latest version of PSL Datatrack has benefited from over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry together with design/wish list ideas from existing customers.
